Brief summary:
Born in 1955 in Lviv. Graduated from Lviv Institute of Trade and Economics in 1976. From 1976 to 1987 he worked in Lviv Design Institute of Automated Control Systems of Centrospilka, was engaged in the development of automated management systems in the organizations of consumer co-operation.

In 1981 he defended his PhD thesis. In 1987 - 1992 he worked as an associate professor, in 1991 he became the head of the Department of Commercial Activity at the Institute of Advanced Training for Managers and Specialists of the Ministry of Communications Industry. In 1992 he shifted to Lviv Commercial Academy as an assistant professor of Marketing Department.

In 2000 he defended his doctoral thesis "Methodological bases of formation of managerial decisions in entrepreneurship" in Economics in the specialty 08.06.02 "Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing".

Since 2001 - Professor of the Marketing Department. From 2000 to 2002 - dean of the Faculty of International Economic Relations. From 2003 to 2021 - Head of the Department of Marketing. Since 2001 - Professor of the Marketing Department.

He is teaching the academic disciplines: "Marketing Product Policy", "Goods Innovation Policy", "Marketing Techniques", "Marketing", "Theoretical Foundations of Marketing". All disciplines are provided with distance learning courses.

He is an author of three one-man monographs ("Effective Solutions in Microeconomics", "505 Business Techniques", "Theory and Practice of Business Techniques Bank Formation"), textbooks "Marketing Techniques", "Commodity Innovation Policy", "Marketing Product Policy", "Basics of Research". Also he is the co-author of textbooks "Marketing Communications of Electronic Business", " Exercises for Students' Self-study, Workshops and Seminars in Marketing ", "Marketing Plan of Trade Enterprise".

The total number of scientific and educational works is over 400.
The main area of scientific interests is the development of a methodology for generating business decisions and the formation of a bank of marketing and management techniques.

Internship and professional development: December 2021 – January 2022 - at the Marketing Department of Ivan Franko Lviv National University; April - May 2022 - Department of the Theory and Practice of Journalism of Ivan Franko Lviv National University.

Member of the Specialized Scientific Council D 35.840.01 at the Lviv University of Trade and Economics.

Member of the sub-commission on the specialty "Marketing" of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

He was awarded the "Badge of Honour" honorary distinction by the Central Union of Consumer Societies of Ukraine, a certificate of the Lviv Regional Council for his significant contribution to the development of science and specialist training., Acknowledgment of the Prime Minister of Ukraine.  Professor Emeritus of Lviv University of Trade and Economics.
