Brief biographical information:
In 1974, he graduated from Ivan Franko State University of Lviv with a degree in Applied Mathematics and a qualification as a mathematician.
In 1976-1978, he worked as a software engineer at the control system department of the Lviv Plant of Radio Electronic Medical Equipment.
He started working at the Lviv University of Trade and Economics (at that time - the Institute) on 1 September 1978 as an assistant at the Department of Technical Means of Economic Information Processing.
He has experience in practical work in the field of information technology - from September 1986 to October 1988 he headed the Centre for the Development of Pedagogical Software, Lviv.  In different years, he worked as an assistant at the Department of Technical Means of Economic Information Processing, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer Software, and from February 2018 to the present time he has been a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science.

He has 38 years of teaching experience.

Professional activity is related to the development and implementation of scientific and practical provisions in the field of design and operation of information systems, including databases and data warehouses, software tools, and improving the efficiency of management based on information technology.

He is the author of about 100 scientific and educational works, including more than 40 in the last 3 years.

He teaches the following educational components:

• Databases;
• Non-relational databases;
• Information systems and technologies.
