Lesya Khmilyarchuk

a senior lecturer in the Computer Science Department

She received higher education in 1983 when she graduated from Ivan Franko Lviv State University with a major in mathematics and the qualification of a mathematician.

Lesya Khmilyarchuk has experience in practical work in the field of information technologies. From 1986 to 1991, she worked as a software engineer at the Computing Center of the Institute for Applied Problems of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. From 1991 to 2005, she served as a software engineer in the computerization department of the Lviv Regional Children's Specialized Hospital.

She has been working at the Computer Science Department of the Lviv University of Trade and Economics since 2005, with an experience of 18 years in scientific and pedagogical activity.

She teaches the following educational components:

• Algorithmization and Programming.
• Theory of Algorithms.
• Programming in the Environment of Office Applications.

Her scientific work has been published in a number of articles in professional journals and in abstracts at international and all-Ukrainian scientific and scientific-practical conferences.

Educational and Methodical Work
She is a co-author of two study guides and the author and co-author of various educational and methodological materials. These include lecture notes, methodological instructions for laboratory classes and independent work, test tasks for current and final control of knowledge and skills for students pursuing a bachelor's degree in the educational and professional program "Computer Science," specialty 122 "Computer Science," in the field of knowledge 12 "Information Technologies."

She is a member of the All-Ukrainian Public Organization "Ukrainian Association of Information Technology Specialists."
