Biographical Sketch
Graduated from Ivan Franko Lviv State University, 1971.
From 1978 to 1981 studied at the graduate school of the Institute of Theoretical Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv). Defended his PhD thesis on "Investigation of charged particle systems in spatially inhomogeneous media", 1982
Defended his doctoral thesis on "Investigation of infinite charged particle systems by functional integration" after graduating from post graduate school of the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine (Kyiv), 1995.
Received the academic title of associate professor in 1985, and the academic title of professor in 2005.
1997 – 2016 has been the Chair of the Department of Higher Mathematics of the Lviv Academy of Commerce, and since 2016 is the Chair of the Department of Higher Mathematics and Quantitative Methods of the Lviv University of Trade and Economics.
Repeatedly (1994, 1996, 1998, 2005, 2016, 2018) was visiting scholar at universities in the United States.
A member of the International Association for Health Economics from 2003. A member of the Scientific Organizing Committee of the 4th and 5th World Congresses on Health Economics (2003 - San Francisco, USA; 2005 - Barcelona, Spain).
Scientific and pedagogical experience - 47 years. Breastplate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine "Excellence in Education", 2008
Awarded the honorary labor award "Badge of Honor" to the 200th anniversary of Lviv University of Trade and Economics
Co-author of two monographs (one of them published in the USA), author of 5 textbooks, and more than 100 scientific and educational works in journals and books in Ukrainian, Russian and English.

Mathematical physics:

nonequilibrium properties of charged particles systems in spatially inhomogeneous environments.

Mathematical methods in economics:

efficiency and productivity of health care institutions in Ukraine;
efficiency and productivity of the banking system in transition economies.
