Science

Research activities of the department is carried out in accordance with the plans of research activities of the University and the Institute of Economics and Finance.

Teachers of the department carry out research within University research topics, topics of the department, writing dissertations, monographs, textbooks and manuals, participation in scientific conferences and seminars, by guiding the research work of students and scientific student circle.

Scientific activity is carried out in accordance with the approved research topics. Such as:

• “Integrated accounting systems in corporate management: concepts, methodology, organization” (state registration number 0111U010539);
• “Improving the methodology and organization of accounting, analysis and control in the management system of enterprises of the major sectors of economy” (state registration number 0111U010540);
• “Accounting, analysis and control in cooperative systems: theory, methodology” (state registration number 0111U010542);
• “Modeling of the national system of accounting and control in the conditions of use of the international standards of the financial reporting” (state registration number 0111U010544);
• “Accounting-analytical and control support of strategic management of business entities in the conditions of European integration” (state registration number 0120U002157).

The following scientific schools function at the department:

• “Integrated systems of accounting, analysis and control in the management the enterprises of major sectors of the economy and consumer cooperation”;
• “Methodology and organization of accounting, analysis and control of business entities”.

Teachers use the results of their own researches in the educational process. This improves the quality of training the young professionals at all educational levels and aimed at providing advisory assistance to business structures in the western region of Ukraine.

All teachers of the department take an active part in research activities of students, supervise scientific reports, individual tasks, courseworks and graduate works. Scientific activity of students develops in traditional directions: preparation of scientific student works for participation in conferences of different levels, competitions of graduate and scientific works, olympiads, competitions of business projects, carrying out of meetings of scientific circles.
